Floral Lace – Styled 4 Ways

Nothing says, “Spring” like dainty florals and lace. This top from LOFT is such a good pick me up for cloudy (and snowy!) March days.

This top is opposite of a basic, neutral, or staple, but it is still able to be worn so many different ways! I hope these styling tips show you that you can mix and match patterns and textures just as much as you can mix and match your wardrobe staples.

Classic LOFT

If you’re a LOFT girl, you know the staples for spring are white jeans and a denim jacket. I styled this top with both of those. Since the pattern just peeks out of the jacket, I embellished the look with some colorful accessories that tie back to the top, like this metallic headband and yellow shoe.

Lots of color in one outfit, but the white jeans and jacket really tone them down.

With Jeans

You can wear anything with jeans, and this light wash pair soaks up the sun! With a lot more floral and lace exposed, I kept it a little more tame with my accessories. I paired this look with a neutral espadrille sandal, but kept a pop in my earrings!

Layered Over a Dress

One of my favorite hacks this winter was wearing sweaters over dresses. It not only kept me much warmer (I’m perpetually cold), but it turned my dress into a skirt!

I wasn’t sure I was going to love the style trick so much with a tank top, but I think it worked! This tank is boxier and hits right below the waist, so it was a flattering layer for this dress.

I chose to wear this with my summer mules, but tied a knot in the bottom of the dress to show them off, otherwise I think mules with maxi dresses look like slippers.

With Loungepants

Because I’m working from home, and therefore living in lounge pants.

This styling dresses the top down and makes it perfect for the weekend! I was inspired to match leopard with floral from a different blogger, and this is my take on it. I think they work together, what do you think?
